Google has fixed a high-severity use-after-free bug in Chrome's Proxy component, tracked as CVE-2026-84324, that affected all versions before 152.0.7977.75. The flaw could let a remote attacker execute arbitrary code outside Chrome's sandbox simply by sending specially crafted network traffic, making it one of the more serious issues patched in this release. Users should update their browser as soon as possible.
