A new joint advisory from CISA and the FBI says the ransomware group known as SafePay has compromised upwards of 600 organizations in critical sectors across the globe since launching operations in 2024. The agencies describe SafePay's reach as evidence the gang has grown into one of the more active ransomware operations tracked this year. They're encouraging potentially affected organizations to consult the advisory's technical indicators and recommended mitigations.
